Starting in 2017, we began working to build a supply chain for commercial scale plastic collection from beaches and riverways.
Shore-Tex™ is fabric made entirely of recycled plastic and can be found in the shell and lining fabric on our backpacks and accessories, and the lining fabric and closet system on our luggage.
How is Shore-Tex™ made?
We collect plastic from beaches and riverways.
The plastic is sorted and cleaned
The plastic is broken down into flakes and pellets.
Then it’s stretched into yarn and wound up.
The material is then woven into Shore-Tex™ Fabric.

We seek work/life/travel balance, so we designed a backpack that can go from weeklong to weekend mode with dedicated Lifezone and Workzone.
Sleek, stylish and sustainable, the expandable zipper offers flexibility to pack light, or expand as needed. Like our award-winning Carry-On Closet, the Venture comes with a FlowCloset™, our removable hanging closet to keep a week’s worth of clothes organized and easily accessible.

- Hang the FlowCloset™ on a closet rod or coat hook using the integrated hook
- Fully extend the compression straps on both sides
- Pack each shelf approximately 75% full for compact items, or 100% full for puffy items.
- Pull the tails of the compression straps to compress the closet as much as possible. This is best done laying flat on a bed or table.
When you arrive at your destination, simply hang the FlowCloset™ and unpack in seconds!
